Heather landed her first gig in advertising in 2002, playing a “punk teen” in a spot about text messaging. She has been working in film and television ever since, transitioning from performer to producer after leaving small-town Nova Scotia in early 2011.
Since arriving in Toronto she’s lead national integrated productions of all sizes, mediums and aspect ratios. Though Heather is specialized in broadcast, she has extensive experience in live performance, experiential & theatre. As a member of the arts community, Heather spent many years as a public programmer which eventually lead to producer roles at the National Ballet of Canada and later, Sid Lee.
She holds a BA Hons. in Russian Language and Contemporary Philosophy from the University of King’s College.
