The final One Show results were announced in May during Creative Week in New York. Rethink had a successful evening collecting a Gold Pencil (the agencies sixth Gold to date) as well as a Bronze Pencil and 10 Merits. The work comes from all three offices and spreads across five different clients.
The highly coveted Gold Pencil was awarded for Fondation Emergence’s ‘Pride Shield’ in Design-Brand Installations. The symbol, made of 193 LGBT flags, was built for International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia; to demonstrate that we can put a stop to violence if we stand together.
The Bronze Pencil was awarded for Leaf Forward’s ‘Pass The Bill’ in Intellectual Property-Physical Product. This set of smokable rolling papers was an exact miniature replica of the document ‘Bill C-45’ which legalized cannabis in Canada in 2018.
The 10 merits are spread across a variety of disciplines.
IKEA’s Lamp 2 spot gained success in the Film & Branded Entertainment categories.
United States Against Gun Violence’s ‘Backfire’ also resulted in multiple Merits in Social Media, Creative Use of Data and Interactive/Online.
Arrive Alive’s ‘The Sobering Report’ received a Merit in Design.
Leaf Fordward’s ‘Pass The Bill’ was given an additional three Merits in Direct Marketing & Design categories.
