To celebrate their 15th anniversary, The Walrus needed a new brand platform that could work across their many events, from The Walrus Talks, to The Walrus Live, to The Walrus Magazine.

The Walrus believes in the idea of a better Canada, and that a strong democracy depends on informed citizens. Because with informed citizens comes well-considered conversation. And that’s exactly what the Walrus is — a facilitator for Canada’s Conversation.

The new brand platform launched with an anthemic hero video at the Walrus Live event in Toronto, before rolling out with posters, print and digital ads, and social content.
