The Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) was founded in 1938 and is the largest charitable source of funding for cancer research in Canada. CCS is a national, community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is to eradicate cancer and enhance the quality of life for people living with cancer. The BC and Yukon Division includes six regions and is one of 10 divisions across Canada. In BC and the Yukon, the CCS has a presence in more than 100 communities.
