The Grid was named one of the best in the world by the Society for News Design as they awarded it with their top prize for design. The Toronto weekly magazine strives to capture the vibe and energy of a city in ascendance.
“This publication really catches you and it will not let you go,” says the SND, “Any big city with respect for itself should get a ‘good shit’ guerrilla guide like this. Right now.”
Four other publications were recognized alongside The Grid in the 33rd annual The Best of Newspaper Design™ Creative Competition; Excelsior, National Post, Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung, Politiken. You can read the full story in Marketing Magazine.
We worked with The Grid on their launch last spring. Watch how we helped them ignite conversations, fuel Twitter debates and get Torontonians engaged with their city again here.
UPDATE, February 21: The Grid has been honoured with five more awards by the Society for News Design. See the full list here.
