Mask 1, for Children of the Street Society's Predator Watch campaign, was chosen for the super glossy cover of their November/December issue, which showcases the publication's 2010 Advertising, Design and Printing Award winners.
Bam!
Copywriter Rob Tarry and Art Director Lisa Lebedovich created the Mask series, which was released in conjunction with a new online initiative of the Vancouver Police Department against child predators. The full print campaign won for Best Public Service/Charity Series.
Says Lebedovich, "Predator Watch is about educating the public, but also about deceiving the deceivers, so the print uses masks to hide the good guys, instead of the bad guys. The TV spot deploys the same conceit, but with a computer screen."
