A long time ago (10 years) in a galaxy far, far away (1425 West Pender), our very first office had rails— six-inch shelves that ran along our cubicles. To shake things up, we started having monthly office-wide creative projects and displaying them on the rails. In true Rethink fashion, we named them... Rail Projects.
These days, we post the projects on our website— to better share them between our Toronto and Vancouver offices.
For this Rail Project we asked Rethinkers to share their most embarrassing CD. To post yours, send the image and description along to railproje..@rethinkcanada.com.
Yanni, "Live at the Acropolis"
"When I was in high school I really had a thing for Yanni. There I was listening to 'A Tribe Called Quest' and 'The Doveshack' and somehow Yanni slipped into the mix. I especially loved his live performances— my friends hated him, but I would let it blast as often as possible. I actually loved Yanni so much that I put him into my 'Persons Most Admired' in my grad yearbook. I don't know, maybe it was his long hair and moustache combo, it's really hard to say."
