Coast Capital Savings wanted to make their annual report more interesting and accessible to their customers. Our approach was to leverage the dry visual language of financial reports and inject them with a bit of personality and fun. Charts and graphs containing essential performance statistics were designed to emphasize their qualitative impact in the real world. This versatile platform was extended to a wide variety of communications, including branch signage, online materials and event collateral.
Coast Capital Savings (CCS), formerly known as Richmond Savings, merged with Surrey Metro Savings in June 2001 to become Canada's second-largest credit union. CCS is owned by its 475,000-plus members and boasts over 50 branches throughout Metro Vancouver, Fraser Valley and Vancouver Island.
