In recent years, we’ve enjoyed seeing the Lions play on their rivalry with other teams in the league. This year, the ad shows a staple concession stand item— the corndog— made out of playing turf, accompanied by the line “Watch our opponents eat it. Season Tickets (604) 589-ROAR.”
Established in 1953, the BC Lions Football Club began playing in the Canadian Football League (CFL) in the summer of 1954. The CFL consists of nine teams all vying for the annual Grey Cup title. The Lions have finished first in the league for the last few years and won the Grey Cup in 2006.
