Canada’s first emoji-to-donate campaign turns provocative produce into healthy food for the Food Bank.

The Greater Vancouver Food Bank has launched Canada’s first emoji-to-donate campaign to help raise funds for healthy food for its members. And they’re using the eggplant and peach—the world’s most provocative produce—to bring the campaign to life.

The digitally-led campaign is running across Facebook, Instagram and Instagram Stories to try to reach millennial donors.

The campaign was been picked up in both local and national news outlets, proving that texting an eggplant or peach can actually pay off.
