Rethink wins a Gold One Show Pencil and nine Merits.

The highly coveted One Show Pencils were awarded last night in New York City.

Rethink’s Stranger’s Voice campaign for the Branch Out Neurological Foundation received a Gold Pencil in the Experiential Radio category and a Merit in Innovation in Radio. The work uses the medium of radio in an innovative way to bring awareness and understanding of how devastating Alzheimers disease can be to a younger demographic.

Rethink also received Merits for work across four other clients. The WestJet Desert Roulette stunt received Merits in Responsive Environments Architecture Enhancement & Direct Marketing Live Events.

Sports Experts picked up three Merits for the Thermal Discount installation in Interactive Digital Installations, Responsive Environments Use of Technology and User Activation categories.

A Merit was awarded to the Registered Graphic Designers for the DesignThinkers 2017 conference identity work in the Design category. This unique identity showcases infinite perspectives in a unified way through the use of an iconic static logo of an eye, which became a symbol for the common thread between all visual designers.

YWCA also received a Merit for the Six-Second Ambush Advisories work. These pre-roll ads hijacked YouTubes advanced targeting to run unskippable six-second warnings in front of specific music videos (YouTube’s most popular content) which objectify women and men.
