UNIQLO Canada opened their first ever store in Western Canada on October 6 at Metropolis at Metrotown. To mark their arrival they invited local Vancouverites to be part of their campaign, showing why LifeWear from UNIQLO fits perfectly with the city.

The Natural Union campaign taps into the uniqueness of a place where natural and urban environments meet, cultures fuse, and where influences collide to create bigger, better things.

Talented locals featured in the campaign include Riverdale actress and singer, Hayley Law, up-and-coming skateboarder, Jason Wilson, Indigenous filmmaker, Amanda Strong, Booooooom founder Jeff Hamada and Tight Club’s Keighty Gallagher, joined by members of her Tight Club crew. Chef and owner of Kissa Tanto, Joël Watanabe, award-winning brew-master, Julia Hanlon, and Sweet Boy Cream Puffs’ Chams Sboual showcased Vancouver’s diverse culinary scene in the video alongside illustrator Carson Ting.

Popular Yaletown barber Farzad Salehi and thisopenspace’s CEO Yashar Nejaiti can also be spotted in the print campaign, which took over Granville Station, Metrotown and in-store.

Those involved in the campaign shared their love on social media.

And the city celebrated on opening day, with the line up making headlines!
