Rethink CD, Dré Labre, has been named as a jury member for the Cannes Lions International Festival.
Dré will be representing the Canadian creative community as a member of the Cyber jury, lead by Iain Tait, at this prestigious event in June.
"Canada is a digitally savvy country and to be selected by Cannes to represent this fine nation at the upcoming Festival of Creativity is nothing short of humbling, “ says Labre.
What will the Cannes experience be like? Dré will be joining more than 9,000 delegates from 95 countries and 500 client companies in the south of France. Not too shabby. Two Rethinkers had the opportunity to take in the Lions last year. See their adventures here.
Now in it’s 59th year, the festival recognizes excellence and creativity in advertising and communications. Each year more than 28,000 pieces of creative communications are submitted, showcased and judged for one week in the South of France.
